Brian Scott : Brian has been performing magic all his life and as the son of a third grade teacher saw the importance of finding ways to uniquely engage students. In addition to performing for hundreds of schools and libraries throughout California, Brian opened the Bay Area School of Magic, where he uses magic in after-school programs to teach communication skills to students in 1st through 6th grade. Brian Scott’s goals are to create a space where students think and wonder and develop critical thinking skills.
Description of programs: Brian Scott Magic has a number of programs that meet the needs of schools looking for a fresh and engaging way to connect program themes to something that is fun and interactive. Regardless of which program you choose, all assemblies will have three key features. They will foster an environment for students to think and wonder. They will be interactive. They will be filed with fun and visual magic. Brian Scott Magic tackles topics such as; Reading, SEL, Bully Prevention, Character ED, STEM/STEAM, and Science. Brian Scott Magic also works with schools looking for family fun nights, fun celebrations and fundraisers.
Biblio Spectacular
This reading-themed school assembly is perfect for Read Across America or any reading campaign in your school! In this 45-minute magical program, I encourage kids to think and ask questions. And I will explain why the library and books are the best ways to get answers to those questions.
Baffling Science
This STEM/STEAM school assembly program highlights scientific principles to explain the amazing magic I perform during the show. Kids will witness and participate in amazing magic routines and then help me reveal the scientific principles that make each routine possible. I’ll also show magic tricks and science experiments side by side…and reveal how they’re different.
